Sta sera parlando di CSI con un amica mi è tornata in mente la lettera che Grissom ha scritto a Sara nella 7a stagione della serie. Eccola in inglese ed in italiano:
Sara,
I don’t know why I find it so difficult to express my feelings to you…
Even know we’re far apart, I can see you as vividly as if you were here with me… I said I’ll miss you, and I do.
As Shakespeare more happily wrote my sentiment in Sonnet 47
“…thyself away are present still with me
for thou not farther than my thoughts canst move,
and I am still with them and they with thee;
or, if they sleep, thy picture in my sight
awakes my heart to heart’s and eye’s delight.”
Non so perché mi riesce così difficile esprimere i miei sentimenti per te Sara…
Anche se siamo molto lontani posso vederti chiaramente come se tu fossi qui con me… ti avevo detto che mi saresti mancata, ed è così.
Shakespeare descrisse con più maestria i miei sentimenti nel sonetto 47
“…anche se lontana sei sempre in me presente;
perché non puoi andare oltre i miei pensieri
e sempre io son con loro ed essi son con te;
o se essi dormono, in me la tua visione
desta il cuore mio a delizia sua e degli occhi.”
